Generally a visit to Autumn's Great Plains Renaissance Faire means sand burs in my fur. Not this time, well, some, enough that they need teased out of my fur but, otherwise, I've nearly accomplished that. Yep, those Kansans are a lot of fun and our crowd was steady. Nice days for sure. Tulsa will be a cinch = )

We actually had a pretty good crowd for so small a venue. Naturally I had fun and as it was so short a gig, I hardly needed to take a break. I'd love to have three or four of these short gigs a week, it paid very well and it was the Library which hired me. It also was the first time I have not needed to consult the City Manager about Byron appearing in town, partly because he's too well known now and partly because the state fair began on the same day ( ... )
