Leah's beloved pet gecko died last week.  She was distraught, but she recalled that we had promised to get her a snake when she was 10 years old if she did well with the gecko (you can see where this is going).  So, on Sunday, we went to the Mars Reptile Expo.  The Expo was fun for everyone in the family.  I had never been so close to a chameleon

My high school biology teacher kept several corn snakes in her classroom. We got to hold them when we watched any films in class. They were always very laid back and liked to curl around our hands (I assume for the warmth) and then would slowly slither from hand to hand.
