Eye color

Two of the boys on Ian's wrestling team are brothers who look alike.  They also share a striking hair color, so their nicknames are "Red 1" and "Red 2".  The other day, Cara was complaining that she had trouble telling them apart, because they look so much alike.  "Oh, no!" replied Leah, "Sean has blue eyes, but Jon has brown eyes

In case you're wondering, Ian's wrestling nickname is "Big Head". But he bristles if anyone who is not a wrestler calls him that.

They should be careful how they pronounce his nickname. When I was growing up, we had an African American neighbor who had a dog, and when he wanted the dog to come home, he'd shout the dog's name: "Bigot". My mother wondered every time she saw them why a black guy would name his dog "Bigot", until one day they were just talking, and when he wasn't shouting across the gully, she realized the dog's name wasn't "Bigot", it was "Big Head". :)
