Well, that was an interesting week.
Interesting, painful, spooky, and in parts a really virulent green.

Looks like thalinoviel has already given people the gist of the problem, I smacked my head on the scaffolding outside the back of the house

I think you should wear your bike helmet at all times when outside the house; until the building work is over and possibly thereafter!

Ah, the classic problem of diagnosing multiple faults on the same system :-). Though they could perhaps have removed fault (d) from consideration if they'd done a good baseline first...
