Level two, room four. Thanks, Chief Inspector. As far as Armand is concerned, I'd never had a direct encounter with him before the attack; his taunts were all related to impersonal things. Weakness, worthlessness, mortality, my l my looks. There didn't seem to be any real reason for him choosing me; I don't know his relationship with the others who were assaulted, but my own encounter seems more like a crime of opportunity than anything else.

Then that's gonna make his other attacks difficult to predict. I guess the best we can do until we catch him is keep everyone out of harm's way.

How are unassigned inmates dealt with when they cause this level of destruction?

Usually, we subdue them and take them down to the cells for holding, sometimes until a warden's assigned to 'em. It's not the best solution, but it's about all we've got here.

Of course, usually they don't kill this many people. I don't even know-- we can't even track the bastard.

Nor does everyone seem to have even a firm grasp of what he looks like. When all is said and done, this kind of incident may be something to add to the discussion list.

My tracker is on the fritz, but my ward is accounted for. I'll explain the situation to her as best I can and ensure her safety. I'm very sorry I wouldn't be of much help on the patrolling front, but if there's anything I can do, please let me know.

The one I've got is largely useless in a case like this- and in most cases in general, I've found. I understand those the TARDIS provides later in my lives are likely more helpful, but my mark is simply a tool which manipulates matter on a sonic level, such as scrambling or disabling signals in certain radio variables, and creating sonic vibrations in the friction of certain surfaces to loosen or incapacitate them, hence the term 'screwdriver.' The torch on the end works only occasionally, due to a mishap in the London fire.

Mind you, if you need any of that, I'll be more than happy to provide it, but I've usually found a kettle and some stringthe resources around me to be far more useful to me.
