So, the Police show was last night. Although some people may think they're lame, I was really happy to be able to go. It was one of the only "BIG" shows that I can ever say I've been to. I love the Police. It's hard seeing old bands in the modern era, I know. You're always comparing them with what they were. Even U2 has become somewhat of a spectacle of their former selves. Oh, but I love the Police... they're part of the soundtrack to my childhood. You're very lucky!

Now, what I wouldn't do to go back in time and see these groups in their heyday. Wow.

Actually, U2 is a band that I would like to see. They are totally what I were getting at by saying big bands. Like I wonder what other epic bands will be considered from our generation. I'm sure Nirvana will be one. It's just interesting to try and fit them into the bigger musical picture. Most of the bands in "popular" music right now will be flashes in the pan. Unless boy bands and solo girls will be what people remember most from our generation.
