So I get home yesterday and drag my tired, sweaty carcass into the shower so as to not smell like a draft animal for the few hours before I have to go back to work. As soon as I get into the stall and close the curtain I am greeted by this pleasant little sight:

you are correct that is a wolf spider. Careful as they can be agressive and have a nasty (though non-poisonous) bite.

It could also be a huntsman spider. They are known to get pretty huge and are also non poisonous.
