I disagree, and feel entirely justified in doing so. I figure I know you better than most of the people who might read this do, and having all that to draw on I don't think you give yourself enough credit. You are everything you said in that first sentence. You are also honorable (an accolade I very rarely give out, you will remember), compassionate, bad-ass, and talented in ways that I will never be. If you have a problem, mate, I don't think it's that you are, "a waste, a creature of cowardice and stagnancy." I think it's that as a human, you are imperfect and make mistakes (although undeniably fewer than you think you do), and as a talented and intelligent human you are liable to buy into perfectionism to a somewhat distressing degree. Yeah, you fuck up sometimes, Zach. You do so a LOT less than most of us.

I feel unconditionally proud and honored to call you my friend and brother.
