fuzzie and I are considering going on holiday in the UK this summer. Since I've seen most of southern England and Wales (the only major places south of Cambridge that I haven't seen are Plymouth and Brighton), I'm making a list of midland, northern and Scottish places that I'm considering visiting.

Edinburgh is beautiful. Glasgow is not. But you haven't specified what exactly you look for in a holiday.. Do you like staring at architecture, do you require n+1 visitor attractions per square cm? Must there be dancing elephants? Are you bothered by weather? Are you limited by public transport?

We are just returning from Edinburgh now, and heartily recommend it, if you are us, but you are not, so I don't know if you'd like it. Moo.
