In the beginning I tried to care about everything. If there was an issue or a problem and I caught wind of it, I would do my best to solve it. Rationally if there is a problem it should be fixed. This is a concept so basic even nature can recognize it and act on it ( Read more... )

What is happiness? Why is it so important?

What if getting your buddy more heroin made him happy?

Most things are so fleeting. Is focusing so much of your time and effort on the happiness of others the best way to live your life? (I am making assumptions as to what your general life goals seem to be [to me] based on my observations. I actually have no idea what you plan to do for you, so I could just be out of the loop.)

I was using happiness, as perhaps a too concise term, for describing a direction rather than state. A push towards physical and mental well being, where a positive outlook is more reasonable than a negative one. It's not that its important per say to anyone in particular, however being happy on the most basic level is understandable to even small children. So basic a concept, yet it has many facets and many things to consider when doing so with open eyes ( ... )
