I've come to a realization that college is a huge, giant trade-off. You finally get to do whatever the hell you want, without your parents breathing down your neck. The only problem is, all the people you want to do this stuff with is at other schools across the country.

Yeah, that's pretty much it, with a lot more alcohol and schoolwork thrown in there somewhere too. It definitely has a loong adjustment period.

I don't think you'll have trouble adjusting at all. College is just like camp, but instead of going to program areas you go to class. And instead of having a cabin you have roommates. haha. I know that wherever you end up you'll find that interesting people will tend to gravitate toward you, because quite frankly lauren horvath, you are amazing. Its still really hard not being able to see the people I pretty much spent every day of my life with for the past 18 years with, but seeing them during breaks, etc will be just that much more meaningful/awesome. Kind of in the same way that you really only get to see camp friends for 2 months out of the year, but those friendships are still insanely meaningful. Wow i just rambled on for quite some time...but i hope it made sense!! i love and miss you sooo much!
