Haha. Thankfully, I was saved from within. My cousins decided to go to Eastwood to drink. It was the first time we all drank together :P

what a surreal world to have a friend where the president comes over for the wake of his close relative. I've been reading about the way you described your nan and she must have been one heck of a lady to have so much admiration from her own family.

so back to the even more surreal world. I keep thinking about these cheesy words that stuck to be a while back watching a sappy Hindi film-which were also significant since an uncle recently passed away. the film's hero says- you know whoever goes, goes up there and watches you. and cares for you and smiles when you smile. there's not a lot you can do for her when you're here and she's up there, but you can do a lot to stop her crying up there too.
