My last entry was not meant to be a homosexuality "bashing" entry.. It was meant to inform you all what is currently undergoing within our state. The entry that I posted upset me. It made me realize exactly why they think homosexuality is OK

true, the church and the bible clearly state that homosexuality is wrong. i personally do not agree, but that isnt the issue. i dont think that the church should have to recodnize gay marriage (although there is no reason why gay people cant marry in a court house and have it recodnized by the state), however, if the church choses not to recodnize gay marriage, then they shouldnt recodnize any marriages where the people had sex before they got married. the bible clearly condemns adultry, and adultry is any sexual relations outside of marriage... that would leave about 15% of the population able to marry.

I reccomend that you read "A Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood. It is a dytopian novel that adresses the consequences of what happens when right wing christians take over America.

just because you want your kids and friends to be christians doesnt mean that they should be. they have every right in the world to make their own decision and not to listen to you. everything that they see every day has an influence on them that could lead them astray from what you want. so are you gonna go on a rampage trying to block every other non-christian influence out there?

and besides, what is wrong with people that arent christian? hmm? will it make me go spiraling downhill into poverty after high school? will it make me have 6 kids by the age of 25? will i become a drug addict? will i be married countless times? will i commit murder? what exactly is wrong with being something other than christian? because plenty of christians do those things that i mentioned. so what makes non-christians worse people?

the whole thing where the romans fell... well they fell because they were just having one major orgie... we aren't and the leader was sort of retarded... what if they marrie? isn't it better to have them not have intercoarse with several people.. if they marrie they will not be doing it with different people all the time.. then STD's wouldn't spread as much.. isn't that better??? they have a right to do whatever they want just like we have the right... well if you want to keep your children christian in this insane world you should go somewhere remote.. you can't get that in the United States... one way or another this gay marriage is going to happen whether you like it or not...

Ok.. i think sarah is right.. cuz jon can have his own opinions... but he doesnt need to "rant" them to every frickin person on the internet... its called pencil and paper... also... i personally feel that homosexuality has nothing to do with being Christian, like the one person said... ppl break about all the rules of christianity so y r u just picking on homosexuality... its gonna happen... Adam and eve made sin for a reason...and u commit sin everyday.. cuz u cant help it...its there... and ur only 15.. ur not the frickin president of the us... so u cant really change things.. not to be rude... so jon.. in the nicest way.. just dont write about it anymore

i dont understand why you care so much. if someone is happy when they are with the same sex, they should be happy. it's not a big deal. you never know if you will turn gay and want to forget all this you wrote in your journal. if you know people feel different and have opinions, i think you shouldn't put this in your journal, because you are asking for a fight. people have different opinions and ways they look on life and they should use thoughs ways differently. everyone is different, so don't you think they should be different and love who they want? the law is stupid and so is the church. they only thinks that adam and eve were perfect and blah blah blah. i'm not saying you should change your opinion, but be conserate of other peoples opinions and not fight back all the time. let them speak how they feel.
