I've just sat here and cried reading all this. I can't imagine what you guys went through and what you had to see. I know I couldn't have handled it b/c it made me cry just watching it on TV. It's hard to believe that something like this has happened to our country, ya know? But Alicia, I don't think I've ever been as proud to say you're one of my best friends as I am right now. It takes a special and amazing person to do what you did and I for one am very grateful knowing people like you are out there. You did a wonderful thing down there, don't ever think you didn't!!

That is so upsetting. I just can't believe all that! You are a VERY brave person! And I completely love you for that. Everything that I seen on T.V. was hard enough, I couldn't imagine being right there. I would have if I had to but I don't know if I could handle it or not. I am so glad that you went and helped and you are back home safe and sound. But again, you are extemely brave for going there and helping. Sometimes I wish I was as brave as you! I really do. I love ya so much girl!

you are such a strong person...and i know i've said this over and over again...but i'll keep saying it as long as it holds true....and i know that it will forever! you're my best friend and i love you like a sister. i am so proud of you for going over there and giving your time and efforts to people who you don't even know....that truely is the heart of an american and it just makes me love our country even more...and i am just so proud to call you my friend ya know....people like you are the reason that i feel safe in my country! thank you boo boo and i LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!

I got teary eyed reading this entry! I admire you a lot for going through all of this. It took a lot of emotions and dedication to gt through it. You should really be a nurse after surviving this. Join us nursing students to help save the world!! :-)
