so, in recent developments, my nana has crossed the pond and is staying with us for the next two weeks. i can bearly contain my enthusiasm. now don't get me wrong, i love my nana dearly, and i hate to be one of those people who can't stand their grandparents because they're old and senile, but in all honesty, in the two days that she's been here, ( Read more... )

holy crap girl. i say just gag her until the 2 weeks are up. but konw that wont happen bracuse she is family stinks. so i say just get out of the house as much as possible. and run and hide when you see her. trust me ist the only way to survive. and if she keep giving you a speech just say that you heard it a million times and you dont want to hear it anymore. well its time for bed. see ya later and good luck

Well, try and tell her that those "good British children" are probably just as bad us "lazy American" children. But that takes effort, and I don't advise doing it for that reason.

i remember when i was born, my nana was talking to my mother, and she was all worried about the fact that i would be brown. but now she still spoils me cos i never see her. and yes, you should have been brought up in england. cos i want to be brought up in england. that'd be so cool...

Here's a horror story: me, my mom, and her mom all trying to pack up my room at the end of my senior year at college. perhaps i'll elaborate on it one day in my own journal. for now, you'll just have to picture the obscenities flying out of my mouth at the end of the day... =) gotta love grandmothers.
