i swear to god, if i see one more happy fucking couple, i'm going to be forced to bust some skulls. i picked up courtney from applebees today where she was having dinner with *victor* who she hasn't seen in ages cause he lives in florida, and they were all cuddley and snuggly and it was just one big lovefest, and really, really special. really. I'm also never jealous of people who are :)

Cos really, is it ever WORTH it? These stupid high school "relationships" usually last about a month on average, and if they last longer, that's nice, but is it ever anything really significant? There is such a small selection of people to choose from when you're in school, and the chances of meeting someone with compatibility and common ground are so low since we're all there because we HAVE to be; not because we CHOOSE to be.

Also.. are any of your friends' boyfriends such hotshit that you should be jealous or bitter about their being together? I could understand if there was a particular *someone* who you were just DYING to go out with but couldn't for one reason or another.. but other than that, you're really not missing out on much.
I think it's better to get to know yourself as well as possible before engaging in something meaningful with another person anyway. I'm sure things could last longer then.
