So, it's official: we're coming to LA. We'll arrive Memorial Day weekend and then (after 5 deays) go to San Diego for IASPM / the Zoo! I think we're going to stay in Calabasas and Pasadena (at friends houses) and then maybe try to Priceline one or two days in Santa Monica or Century city before heading to San Diego (where we have three nights at ( Read more... )

We're going to CA in May and I'm counting the days until we can eat at Taco Mesa, our favorite SoCal chain. We love the breakfast tacos here but nothing beats CA tacos.

(good meeting you at Target the other day! I hope your household feels better soon. And a funny sidenote, I met handstil at that Target too.)

I've never heard of Taco Mesa, mainly because I've always thought of Orange County as a place to drive through, not go to. Probably should get over that soon. Our favorite place is a little semi-permanent truck in the Highland Park neighborhood of LA.
