(no subject)
Back from the Island. St. Simon's was nice.
Got a chance to spend some time with the family, which doesn't happen that often these days. Pretty nice, but I feel I've spoiled myself on Island trips with friends. Still, any time on the island is good time.
Right now, I've got Reno playing and I'm looking for a good shot of Dangle's shoes. I've got to get myself a pair of the black boots he normally wears (not the white ones I had last year) and I need to get a little screen cap to take to Wal-Mart with me. I know they've got (at least something close to) the boots I'm looking for, but I need a reference to make sure I get the right ones.
Looking now for Fry's jacket. I'm assuming it's fleece, so I'm scoping out various websites. eBay didn't seem to have anything on a cursory search, but I may go back and look a little harder.
Also, I found a pretty good crossing guard vest for Dangle, but the reflective parts of it are the wrong color. Does anybody know if you can buy silver reflective tape? The strips on this vest are bright yellow.
Also, does anyone know if there's a specific name for the kind of hat you see deputies and (I assume) other police where when they're in dress? Those hats with the circular brim and the indentations on the... top part of the hat.

Fleece jacket. But, unsure on the color. I feel like it should be intense red, if only to ensure the cartoony-ness of the costume. But, I'm not good with colors, truth be told. Does the beet look more like Fry or the intense red?
These things probably won't be bought until next paycheck to make sure I can get it all. I'd get some things this week, but I want to make sure I've got enough for Deathly Hallows.
That's right! The book cometh! And I am excited.
I'm not sure why, but I never really got excited over the movie release. And, truth be told, for one reason or another, I wasn't really impressed with the movie. I liked parts of it alot, but on the whole, I was just kinda... meh on it.
That being said, I am VERY psyched about the book.
This whole weekend, in fact, should be nice. Got the book, and also on the 21st there's a big soccer match, LA Galaxy vs. Chelsea. Beckham's big premiere. And then on Sunday, Chip and Rogni may be coming down. Gotta check on that.
Ah and I finally bit the bullet and got Final Fantasy XII. I'm months and months behind the self-respecting gamer, but FIFA 07 interest is getting lower until I can start playing the people from work and everything I've got on 360 right now isn't calling my name.
I saw it at Gamestop and felt like I owed it to my fandom to get the game and play it. Here we go.
