Not busy enough, though, as I'm still on here ( Read more... )

You might get a kick out of old skool His and Her Circumstances [Kare Kano] - I enjoyed it a good deal when I watched it recently.

Ooh, you know what else? Get your hands on the 39 episodes that were Gundam X. A good story that doesn't need you to know every bit of Gundam history that ever was to get into the story and love the characters.

Those are the ones I can come up with off of the top of my head - if I can think of any more I'll let you know.

Christ, I JUST put this up and you're already on the ball. Nice work.
I'm reminded now that this summer I told myself I was totally going to get into NaNoWriMo this year, but as it stands with these classes, there's no shot of me getting anywhere near that. =(
The only writing type thing I've got going for me right now is that for that White Writers/Black Characters class, I've got to keep this journal and a few nights ago, I started writing in this journal entry that really started to turn into something else. I'm thinking of going back and revising it into something digestable if I can find the time.

Sounds like a plan. I'm still angsting over my NaNo plot but I think I'm going to go with my original idea and whatnot. And I hopped right on the comment bandwagon because I get them right to my hotmail and a little thingy pops up every time I get mail. I was wondering when you were going to crawl out of the basement after UGA's loss last week. Can they recover?

Georgia can recover. We need Auburn to beat Florida (a possibility considering how fired up the Tigers will be after such a crazy loss and knowing that this would be a big game) and we need Tennessee to drop one more in the East (maybe South Carolina? Spurrier's always good for one spectacular showing, and since the Vols have to go to Columbia, there's a shot). This, of course, considering that we somehow pull out a win against UF. I'm genetically predisposed to believe this can and will happen every year, though, so ( ... )

I still have yet to do any tailgating due to always being out of town during games. I'd looooove to tailgate this weekend for the UF game, but I'm going home. Boo!

As for anime, GUNDAM SEED FOR THE WIN. Don't let anyone tell you it's a "kiddy" version of MSG. Sure, the character designs are somewhat kiddy in appearance, but the storyline itself gets pretty twisted at some points... Oh, man, it's such a good show. Kira is quite the angsty hero, but I personally think that makes him more likeable than the antithesis hero character who loves fighting/war, etc. Anyway, awesome show. I have the whole series on DVD bootlegs as well as burnt DVDs a friend sent to me. If you give me your address, I'll ship the burnt DVDs to you (trust me, you don't want the bootleg. XD), s'long as you ship em back. ^^

And I'm also on a quest to see Kare Kano. Have yet to get started, though.

Tailgating for an Auburn/UF game has got to be bananas. Please beat them. The happiness of all the bulldog puppies on the planet depends upon it.

It's been a good long while since I've enjoyed a nice mech anime. I think I'll take you up on your offer. 400 Riverbend Parkway, Apt. 8, Athens, GA 30605.
And have no fear about getting them back. I'll make double-sure they get back to you. Scout's honor.

i know what you mean when you say you question what you're using your time for.
i was lazy. XD
i have a degree in art, but i didn't push hard enough to get the professional degree.
That's why i have an office job at a company where a customer i used to wait tables for runs. =P
(Thank god for employers with an Asian-fetish? *lol*)

Anyway, i hope you find some sort of resolution.
Some people do it. Some, like me, don't. *lol*
i'll be rooting for you, though. ^^

Tailgating...
i've never done one of those things... i was never into the college football scene. Heck i was never into any sort of sporting thing. =P
(*cough* Georgia State doesn't have a friggin' football team *cough*)
Sounds like fun though. ^^

UGAnime...
have you ever been to any of the meetings?
My ex belongs to that group, i think. If i have you say hi to him for me, maybe he'll freak out. *lol*
But i diverge. *lol*

i don't have any suggestions for other anime series for you to watch... oh, have you seen Berserk? i thought that was pretty good. Rather graphic, but good

I don't know where in the world I'm going to end up. I keep dreaming that I'll work with Garrison Keillor on A Prairie Home Companion and we'll exchange works-in-progress and talk about family and he'll take me to a Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey game and I'll bring him to a UGA football game... maybe not that last bit. Don't know how he'd react to that insanity.
In any case, thanks for the support!
I've not yet been to any of the meetings, I've been so many different kinds of busy this semester. It's ridiculous.
As for Berserk, a couple of friends of mine saw it and said it was great. I think they may have the DVDs, so I'll check that out.
