Too damn close though. Gf and her family lost some friends and acquaintances. Fires came within a few km of their place, not that we knew it until the next day.

N from me, though I did see the start of the ferntree gully fire and drive through the smoulderiness the following day, as i was there all weekend staying with friends. scarrrryyyy

Luka, I and the cats are all good! We're nowhere near a danger area, but we have emergency plans to go and jump in Edwardes Lake :)
