=) i'm glad you feel this way about mag. for me too, joining the indochina dance group was one of the best things i did!! i'm truly sad to leave and not be dancing with them anymore. great times at folkolorama and the development of some great friendships!!

it is such a nice feeling to get satisfaction from belonging to such close-knit groups.. and the cultural aspect of it is like the icing on the cake!!

it's hard to put into words how you feel about such a thing like mag
like how do you seriously tell a stranger how much you love a "folk-dance group" without them thinking you're some hippy
but it's one of those things that you want the whole world to know...
coz it's not like you can marry magdaragat

I know, I usually kind of sum it up by saying "it's a filipino folk dance group... and it's much cooler than it sounds"

So true... Mag will always be a big factor of my life... If I haven't moved I'd still be in it.. And I still think of the group all the time.. and I still crave and miss the MAG FAMILY! Folkarama was a big part.. but its only the tip of the ice berg! Take care.. Miss you guys lots!

but it's true, it's hard to be apart from all the fun of the group and think about things like folklorama
..i don't know how i'm gonna cope if/when i ever do end up making the move out of winnipeg
