so yea, i realized tonight that Stephen Douglas is the real reason for the Civil War. Forget slavery or failure to compromise, its Stephen Douglas. He kept alive the compromise of 1850 after Congress shot it down, came up w/ the whole popular sovereignty idea which completely destroyed Kansas, proposed the railroad which went through indian lands ( Read more... )

so basically what youre saying is that stephen douglas is responsible for the end of slavery in the united states. HAH!

and as much as i would like to have that mans babies, i couldnt live with myself knowing that i had taken that pleasure away from you.
