*eyes widen, he hasn't seen that one coming AT ALL*

I....
.....
...Dunno. *looks down* I mean... I know I shouldn't thank a war, people died, for God's sake. But... I don't know if my parents are worth it. Am I really a war orphan? Or my mother was just another prostitute of the neighbourhood who couldn't deal with a kid? *shrugs* My actual family may not have my blood, but they're my family anyway. I cannot think of anyone else.

I don't believe in fate and all that horse crap, but it does mean that I don't believe in alternative ways a life could have gone as well. Which, I guess, is a way of saying your life is what you have and you just have to make the best of it, which it sounds like you're doing.

*smiles* Yah know how to convince a guy, Lassie. *shakes his head* I always live my life how I think it's best, and I learnt not to think much 'bout the past. *shrugs* But sometimes I hear the other agents talkin', and I have a strange sensation when I think I'd thank a war for takin' me out of the streets.
