Is there any way to tell if you rented a DVD from Netflix before besides going through the darn Rental Activity page? I have several hundred entries there and don't always have time or remember to check there first when I'm adding movies. I just had to put two DVDs in the return envelopes because 10 minutes in I realized I had seen both already.

Er, not quite sure what you mean by that. I rate all of them if you're talking about the "star" rating thing.

Duh, I just figured it out! It's the red star/yellow star thing, isn't it? Now I feel like a dummy.

E says rather than going through the whole list just do an "edit > find on this page" after showing all the rental activity. best you can do on netflix she thinks ~m

Sigh. Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that yesterday after discovering the two DVDs I'd already seen. Seemed like a big hassle though, so I was hoping someone would know another solution. I don't know why Netflix can't offer you a little flag when you click on something you already rented from them. They let you know if a film is already in your queue, so it seems like a small additional step.

I will, if their customer service ever responds to my initial inquiry. :1
