i know the dictionaries cost like 20 and 3 bucks that are completely downloaded to the iPod touch, so no need of wi-fi. but yeah, i'm concerned about other stuff. wi-fi is not available everywhere, right? only at some school, institutions, coffee shops...

on the other hand, i seriously don't have enough patience to wait another 6-7 month. but then, like you said, there would be newer versions and cheaper versions.

ooh, money is indeed time to waste and time to think.

how much music do you have? if you don't have that much, just go for the 8gb.
i have 17gbs of music, and i'm using a 16gb ipod so i feel like it's not enough, but hey, it's not like i listen to everything anyways.

i don't really have anything to say about what you should get, but watching movies on your ipod really helps pass a long airplane ride. since you're on the plane already you'll take what you can get and the small screen doesn't bother me. even though once i'm done watching one movie my ipod is already about to die. then again i have an older ipod- whatever the last version was before they started making the ipod touch.

Don't forget about refurbished ipods too!

I have an 8g, it's pretty small, but I'm okay with that. I go through different music moods too.

i saw what you wrote on my entry, and i was going to respond back tomorrow but i'll just do it here. iphones and itouches are very similar, except for the main reason you said (that one is a phone). there are other small differences, like the sizes. i don't have an iphone so i don't know much about it, but i'm sure you can google "iphone vs. itouch" or something to find out more ( ... )
