Tonight was supposed to be Chick Flick night with Amy. We had planned to see Enchanted, but the 7pm show was canceled for some reason. Plan B was put into action and we purchased tickets to see The Great Debaters. I guess it was a sneak preview for AMEX holders, and we both had AMEX cards.

I actually wish I had seen this with you. I would have really enjoyed talking to you after the film to get your thoughts on it.

That is one high rating on the Amethyst scale!

So what do you think.... obviously you think it's worth seeing, and clearly it had emotional impact on you. Would it be too much for me to see in the theatres? Should i wait to see it at home? Or do you think i could/should handle it? Cuz you've surely gotten me interested.

I saw this on the news this morning. It seems one of Philly's anchorwomen's Father was the "adopted" son of Henrietta Bell Wells who the character Samantha Booke is based on .
