Just one for now for the drabble-a-thon.
Trapped inside her mind, thoughts flitted through her head like dandelion seeds dancing in the wind.
She couldn’t move. She couldn’t see. But she could feel. Feel that he was in trouble. Lost. No longer on his path.
He needed her. She could sense it.
She had to get out.
She prayed. She begged. She’d never wanted anything so much.
She loved him, wanted to be with him. But that was the sacrifice she had to make.
Just long enough to set him right. That’s all she had.
It passed quickly, faster than she’d imagined.
But it was long enough.
