Dr. Wiki's pretty good on summarizing Comic Sans (check the resource/external links section, too), Ban Comic Sans is just fun, this is also found in the external links of Wiki's page, but it's great in dissecting live-use of comic sans font, designer poll, the creator lmfao, I remember watching this mini-documentary ;), and... some extras here, here, and a brief over-all summary here, because I can't find the original Comic Sans debate page I read so many months back :T Also, Papyrus is mentioned a few times in those above articles. And if you haven't heard of the Helvetica documentary, I implore you to check it out ♥ Also, design magazines are chock-full of threads on 'alternatives to common webfonts,' like this one about Georgia (although IMO, Georgia's rather pretty). /typeface geek ( ... )
