Good for you! Michael's girlfriend Gillian is a big fan of WW, has lost a fair bit using it. Definitely try going to yoga, I have found using more than one type of exercise is pretty vital to sustaining weight loss. I also really, really recommend pilates. (I personally prefer it to yoga, but then I have only been to yoga once, with a shitty teacher, and have lots of friends who are yoga fans). Once you've got started with the regular exercise and can see a little difference, it will do the world of good with your willpower and determination. When I was not exercising much the last few weeks due to buggering up my elbow, then getting a bad cold, I felt so guilty!

And boy portions! I am always scolding Scott for doing this. And indeed, don't lose all the curves. Then you wouldn't be your sexy self. :D

Good luck darling! I'm rooting for you, and if you want to talk about it anytime, let me know.

Oh! And my friend runs a community here on lj, total_health. It's nice and friendly and supportive.

Matt is awesome, true fact. I am 100% supporting you in this. *cheerleads* It is easy, really easy, to put on weight at a bit at a time, and it's hard work getting it off, but I think being healthier and exercising does make you feel more positive, which is never a bad thing, surely! :)

Good for you, Erin (and for your mum, too) for taking care of yourself and your health! I've heard a lot of positive things about Weight Watchers. The program really does seem to work. And it's not a diet - diets are meant to go off of - WW is a lifestyle change. The belly dancing sounds great (I'm interested in trying it myself) and you may have heard me mention a few times that I really dig yoga.

You will rock this, Erin! And please, don't feel any guilt about what you ate in NYC - you did a huge amount of walking, and burned many calories. Also, you were on vacation, and you shouldn't feel guilt for some indulging while on holiday. That's what going on holiday is about.

You are already sexy and awesome and you're going to be even more awesome!

Best of luck!

I need to lose some weight desperately (well, I do lose it, but it keeps finding me).
