I'm thinking City Fitness (what used to be Bodyworks) on Thorndon Quay. Close to my house, free spas, free yoga, and it's meant to be fairly inexpensive. Good toimes.
Now let's just see if I actually end up keeping my promise to myself and joining up...
Heh, the title of this post amuses me, because in an unconnected way, Steph and I were texting each other lyrics from the same song today. We must have been on some similar wavelength!
Bellydancing again, huh? Neat.
And that's a gorgeous mobile! What colours are you doing it in?
"I've pencil sketched the scene...it's feeling Byzantine!" LOVE IT!
Yup- seems Traysi is taking another round of beginners classes! I've missed two (was sick for the first class, and had the wedding last weekend), so will hopefully try and make the last four. Since I've already done a few classes, I should be able to catch up easy enough!
Here is a photo of the knitted birds, in all their multicoloured glory! Will have to get another photo of them, now their wings are attached.
Best of luck with the job stuff. I'm sure people will be bending over backwards to have Erin awesomeness at their work :)
Very sorry about the insomnia, you know I empathize. I've used melatonin a few times before; I usually have to double drop though. It's okay. That's great that Matt's doing better!
Yay for your impending 2 year birthday! ♥ It seems like only yesterday...
I would LOVE to come to your crafty ball and I WOULD wear my wedding dress once more. Hehe.
I'm very interested in your script, and proud of you for writing!
And yes, that wedding sounded pretty amazing.
Good luck with the gym! I found using the elliptical/cross country trainer to be the best thing to start doing, and it's still my main gym staple.
Why, thank you! I have certainly failed at LJ these past couple of months, I'm afraid. :(

Thanks, honey. It's been strange- all the stress of the last couple of months has thrown my cycle off kilter, and I've had all the symptoms associated with my "monthly monster" (including lack of sleep), but I don't think the monster has appeared since...April?! Hopefully, now the monster has made its appearance, I might end up sleeping a bit better. Fingers crossed!

Thank you! I love him SO MUCH! <3 Still got a terribly itchy finger...but hey. ;P

And I would have you there in heartbeat, wedding dress and all! I'm thinking of hiring an 18th century style dress for this weekend...one with a big bustle and serious cleavage! ;)
I'm very interested in your script, and proud of you for writing!Would be happy to send you a few

Thank you on both counts! Yup, Senior Advisor on that salary would be just fabulous. Think of all the yarn! *grin*
I'm very proud of how the mobile is looking. Will post pictures on here once I'm done. Am also very much looking forward to the birth of my new baby sis- and having a cute little person to practice on! :D Will post pics of her, too. :)
It was a shame you missed the dance battle between one of the Morris troupe and a drunk breakdancer. Actually, considering it made me turn to a friend of mine who WAS there and express the opinion that it was a good thing we weren't single anymore, possibly not.
Also- Baz Luhrman Party? OMG MUST BE DONE! Can I come as Fran from Strictly Ballroom? CAN I? Red sequinned flamenco dress FTW! I would totally try and get Paul a gold Matador coat to wear too...
I love Knitty so SO much. But why the knitted umbrella?
I do believe I saw the drunk breakdancer try and have a dance battle with you towards the end of the night! Was quite impressed by his moves- but also quite skeeved out by his drunken pervy glances in my direction. Which made me glad I am not single.
I shall be having the Baz Luhrman party for my 26th in October- if you're up for it! You would look quite stunning in a red sequined flamenco dress...and, oh my, imagining Paul in a gold matador jacket made my day! :D I'll see if I can convince Matt to hire a knight's costume, so he can be Romeo to my Juliet!
Why NOT a knitted umbrella?! I think it's fabulous! I totally want to make it...but not so sure how it would stand up to Wellington, mind. ;P
