You all must know how I love geeky stuff, so when evilmattikinz sent me a note about a couple of old OS photos with an enquiry about what they meant.... and I couldn't resist, and replied...

That's a whole new area of geeking I was unaware of - I must resist...

When I next get confused about historical survey and mapping data...you are going to be the first person I call :-)

Fabulous realm of wonderous tech stuff....there's a whole world out there that I know nothing about....

So - are you guys coming to London for my birthday thingumy (no pressure, honestly).
Shame about the party not being on today :-( - we would have loved to have seen you - tell us when the replacement party is!.....

We'd love to come but callytmk's cousin (like a sister) is going to be having a birthday party sometime near then ... in York.

If there is no clash with that I think we would very much like to be shown round your fine steam museum.

(On the historical survey thing - surveying was for me one of the best bits of archaeology when we doing that to rescue ourselves from the poverty of working in IT).
