One of those lengthy trains of googling brought me upon references to the Crypt of Civilization, intended to be opened in 8113 AD, which is... ambitious!

Interestingly another article about it enlarges rather on the problem with the finders not speaking English:

How is anyone (anything) going to know to look there? Maybe we should start looking for these messages from previous civilisations?

I think I read somewhere once that there is a segment of DNA shared by many living things which does not appear to code anything useful. Perhaps it's the licence...

Maybe it says - Warning - don't sequence the genome, because if you do, ...
