We saw Pan's Labyrinth on Saturday. It was an interesting movie. I have to chuckle at Suzanne's fears. "Don't see it while you're pregnant," she warned. I think I expected more on the fantasy side of things and less on the creepy sicko fascist side. I did like the way they blended fantasy with reality, though some of it was rather nightmarish. I'm also amused with how they translated faun into Pan, though the faun never actually gave a name. Ha! I don't think there was anything significantly thought-provoking about the movie, but then I've never had a particularly difficult time accepting fantasy as a part of reality. All in all, I was kind of disappointed.
