(no subject)
I have pictures, as promised! Right now, after doing a bit of internet image searching, I believe it may be a grey whale skull. Not entirely certain on that though, and would love any input anyone can give.
Here, with my mother-in-law's hand (and foot) for size reference.
The bit coming out the front appears to be cartilage, or at least yields like cartilage. There don't appear to be any other bones anywhere around, so I don't have much else for research. I'll say this though: if I could figure out where to put it to transport it, and where to put it once home, I'd try and get this thing in my backyard somehow. Too many cow skulls in Californian yards, and we need variety.
