Meh, Bill Clinton said it best I think. *Paraphrase, Paraphrase* No one knows if their up the the challenge until they sit in the chair. Obama has been an unexceptional senator in a largely unexceptional senate. There is nothing in his record to suggest that he will be an exceptional president, which is of course what we need right now.
Then again, unexceptional people in exceptional circumstances...
