It's good to hear from you and that you are safe and sane in amongst all the madness.

I live in Norway now, and our Uni went into official lockdown yesterday. I am going to be staying at home for the next 2 weeks at least. The government here are calling for "Den Store Dugnaden" (The big dugnad) in other words, a big community effort where everyone tries their best in order that the community as a whole is protected (the elderly, the emergency services.) It's not a bad attitude.

Thank you. Hope the Northern countries will be more disciplined than us, since we are basically in quarantine because people continued to move from the areas more infected to the others. Be safe!

There are some moderate measures here, too. No gatherings of more than 100 people. Encouragement to work from home.

Basically, that's all for now, but things may change soon. I feel sorry for all my friends whose work depends on people going out. The market sellers, the friends who own restaurants. They are having a really hard time right now.

Good to hear you are coping well, and I'll keep your grandmother in my thoughts. Not that that does any good, but there isn't much else one can do ...

Restaurants have been closed some time ago, after many discussions. The only shops open now are supermarkets, other activities selling food (not restaurants, pubs or coffee shops), pharmacies, opticians, household products, tobacco shops, and other activities considered first needs.
Hotels, restaurants, museums, and the whole number of activities related to our turism (which is one of our main wealths) are all closed now. Economically, it's a stab in the chest, as there are also difficulties with the export of food, which is another of our main incomes.

We'll see. Thank you <3
