2024 birthday update

Hello flist!

Long time not updating this blog. However, since I dislike the feeling when you go check someone's blog and there are no recent updates, and you don't know whether that person is still alive or not, here I am with this post to confirm that yes, indeed, I am still alive and fairly well. I am currently in vacation with my family and today

He is indeed lot of work but now that he's almost one year and a half, he also interacts a lot more, plays in the playground, tries to communicate etc. The first months were hard however, and he's still waking up many times a night. I haven't slept one full night in a year ^^;

Happy (slightly belated) birthday, my dear! It's so good to hear from you. (You're so right about how lovely it is to see catch-up posts. I love to keep up with people. I need to do a few posts myself.)

Glad you and your family and baby are thriving and that you haven't left the HP fandom entirely. I do a lot less fanfic reading now than I once did, but I still keep my hand in.

It will feel weird this year not to have a Hoggywarty story to write (for the first time in well over a decade!), but I plan to reread some of the fest classics around Christmastime this year. Who knows, I might even post a little something to the comm!

Best wishes for your move! Packing and unpacking are always a hassle, but I'm sure you won't be sorry for the trouble once you have more room.
