In google earth is it possible to map things in a 3-d image? I thought you could but dunno for sure. Found my old San Diego house on there. Cool.

kind of. you can use the "tilt" switch to flatten out the image, which will appear almost 3D, especially if you match the tilt angle to that of the shadows. you can do a thing in big cities were if you tilt all the way to flat, and check the "buildings" box, 3D building simulations will pop up. that's the 3D trick i mentioned looked like the model in back to the future. but only big cities have that buildings option. also, having the "terrain" box checked appears to give a 3D effect to the land. atleast when hills are there.
