hi, i'm zachary. i don't think we were ever really acquainted. once upon a time, before canon-game hiatus/journal deletion, i was kinglead, and i had a gene tierney user pic. i've pretty much only ever been active in artofvision, never maintaining a journal of my own. even then, i took more than i received, as i was been intimated by the universal quality of the posts. artofvision has been pretty instrumental in how i've discovered films, though, and i hope that i'll be able to contribute a lot more this round.
i really love most of what i've seen from the list you submitted.
Wonderful then, it's lovely to make your acquaintance. My journal is a lengthy run of neglected self-indulgent poo the past years, which is sad really. "No where else to say it? Say it in LJ." Maybe this will change but maybe not.
I've not seen very many films you posted to artofvision, but I've made some mental notes about ones I've been meaning to see, in hopes that I will see them sooner perhaps.
The community is very valuable in the thought quality of its participants, but even more thoughts make it even more valuable--so share yours, as I think most of them would agree there's no reason to be intimidated at all :]
