Right. So, the last thing I need is another WIP going, but apparently short little things are not in the cards for me right now.

I got a bit creative with geography in this one to make it work properly for this fic, and stuck Fitton sort of around Reigate-ish, not too far out of London. I know it sort of contradicts... stuff, but the show does that anyway.

As Carolyn made her way to the portacabin from Fitton’s excuse for an airport, she found herself rather surprised at seeing her pilot wandering aimlessly around the area, and out of uniform. After a few moments, Martin seemed to have noticed her, and reacted with a simple smile, before continuing on in his wanderings ( ... )

You'll be pleased to know that I have the next part ready to post. Except for one bit of dialogue from Douglas, which is waiting on my little_details post, which I wrote days ago, to actually be put up. D:

I was very nervous about putting Rory and Martin in the same fic, but as I started playing around with them, I realised that while Rory is a rather sweet person, he's also a lot more confident than Martin, and I think that goes a long way toward differentiating them. So, I'm very glad that those differences are coming across!

This story makes me feel good on the inside. Which is exactly what it should do. Wonderfully written :)

How have I just stumbled upon this now? Dear God this is amazing! Your characterization is impeccable and it's hilarious - I couldn't stop laughing. Can't wait for the next update :3

Aw, yay! Glad you're enjoying it! I've finally managed to get past a huge hurdle in my WIP from hell, and should be able to focus on my billion other WIPs now. :D
