I printed out a highly reviewed recipe from AllRecipes.com, bought the ingredients and prepared everything last night to cook today. I'm so envious that you have a home to call all your own. You're right; it totally sucks to be looking for a place. At this point, I just want to be able to go home and know that OUR home together and feel settled and secure. Sigh.

A few tips: use the top sirloin roast. I used a regular chuck roast and I think that's why my roast came out so oily. Also, if your crock pot has less than 8-10 serving capacity, you can cut down on the veggies. I used only one onion and one green bell pepper.
We're also trying to build up our savings again. I've drained so much of my savings account for the wedding, and now property taxes are coming up as well.
