Instead, tonight I made a few paper flowers for me and the BMs to carry during the rehearsal. Can we say "unnecessary?" I learned how to make these in elementary school and always loved how versatile they are. I even made them out of toilet paper when I was bored. Glad to hear that the parasols are nice! I called Oriental Trading Co. yesterday because I couldn't find the parasols on the website. They're sold out for now and another shipment is expected later this month. Serves me right for taking so long to decide between 2 or 3 dozen. :-)

Those flowers are so pretty! you guys will look so cute with them at your rehearsal. I think the colors look great! Of course, I'm partial to the magenta/fuchsia flowers. =)
hmmm...ok, now you've got my mind churning. I've seen the Paper-Source ones but I'm sure they're not cheap. But I've never done this before so I really shouldn't attempt it. =P

The Paper-Source ones are $15 a kit. I'm sure they have very nice paper, but I don't want to spend that much for these little extras. The tissue paper flowers are really easy to make. No measuring required. Here's what you need ( ... )
