D left for his bachelor party last night. I spent most of last night making checklists, updating the wedding timeline, and finally printing out and organizing all our contracts into my neglected wedding binder. FSIL is going to be our reader and will read The Art of Marriage during the ceremony, so I printed out and mounted the reading onto ( Read more... )

Hi Marika!

I'm getting stuff done, but not at a fast enough pace to feel comfortable. I've been so busy that I haven't had time to take pictures. Hopefully, I'll have some more time later this weekend.

You know, I had a slight issue with the veil too. I didn't mind that much, espeically since it was so inexpensive, but I remember thinking that it wasn't as perfect as I wanted. Glad you were able to fix it with the ribbon. Don't you love it when there's a simple solution? :-)

We had The Art of Marriage read at our ceremony, and LOVED it! I still get goosebumps whenever I read it. Such a good reminder of what a marriage is all about.

I'm getting SO excited for you! Wish you had pictures of the highlights. I agree that you probably want to go more natural for the wedding, but now at least you know what you can do after the wedding!

I remember your issue with the veil stitching. I even went back to look at your pictures to see if the stitching showed, but you avoided the whole issue by wearing the tiara! :-D The highlights have darked a tad, but I still want to go brown for them for the wedding. I'm pretty sure they'll bleach themselves out when we go on our HM in October, so I know I won't have to be without them for long.
