i didn't think it had been that long since i had updated
last week, many of my friends were on spring break
the friday before, i went to katie's house with angela and travis
we went to wal-mart to get cheap food
then we played cards
it was the kind of fun where people jsut get hyper and happy, and nobody cares
it was wonderful
the kinda fun i've always jsut loved
angela had to leave early, but we still had funtaylor taught us how to play spades
at first we thought i jsut sucked, but my chair was jsut cursed
or taylor's jsut really good
moreso it seemed like the chair though
the next day()
was angela's birthday party
oddly enough, i barely saw her
i got off work at 9, and went to mr. gatti's jsut as everyone was leaving
actually they all left because they didnt want me to have to waste my money there
i waited at the door, and a lot of people were glad ot see me
it was slightly overwhelming
i was gfiven aparty hat
i think it was krista or angela
but on the way out, jessica and krista were my hoes
it was fun
then i went to the park to wait on angela to get there, and i played frisbee with a few other people from the party
theuy all decided to leave as angela came back
angela had errands to run (katie needed cake(ho))
i told her we were invited to the drys' (it's their name)
i went there, and angela was not able to
but it's ok
hanging out there was fun
i'm aways a little paranoid there though
i'm probably not the only one
their dad is a preacher
and their house makes it obvious
we sat and talked
we trned on a tape of a comedian
he was a clean fun comedian
i was kinda bored by him
he wasnt too bad, just not my humor
not as random as i would like, and he wasn;t self-depricating, which is somethign i always appreciate
we wnded up kinda tuning him out, and jsut talking
which is always thew best way for things to go
last week, i had been tryign to get the hosue clean so that peopel could come to my house
by thursday, i had not been able to find hardly anybody that would be confirmed to come, so i gave up, and went to the hobby shop, then home depot
on the way home from home depot where i had bought all i would need to build a fume hood, kaite calls me
they were eating at subway, and my presence was requested
even though i had already eaten 2 steak quesadillas, i went
it was jsut katie, jessica, and jason at first
jessica had bought me a small gift
it was great
at the drys' i had mentioned(somehow) that i had neer had one of those gargantuan lollipops
so she got me one
i'llprobably end up never eating it
but i got one now
so woot!
but at subway, we sat and talked
once, me and katie had to talk trying to drown outa fight between jason and jessica, but it was nothing too bad
we eventually go rude to them, and they quit
after a while, we were joined by chris hardy, then later dillon and tj
then we went to my house to play hide and seek
well, since i had thought nobody would be coming over, i stopped cleaning
the house was far from being hide-and-seekable
so we played games inthe living room
travis came eventually
we played battle of the sexes
me and travis had to be on the girl's team, and travis was a horrible girl
he knew sports and stuff
it was a little unfair for the other team
there weren;t enough playing pieces, so we used big o, and dorothy 1
we eventually gave up on playing, and just asked thw questions
turned into a wonderful fun shoutign match
3 close-up instances of a whole lot of inclusive fun
each time, i felt completely wanted, and appreciated, sometimes by peopel i thought might kidna hate me
i'm pretty certain they don;t now
i want to get my house clean, keep it that way, and invite people over more
i've never been comfortabe with calling up someone wanting to jsut hang out
when i was young, i never had the opportunity
my best friend in elementart school decided in fifth that he jsut didnt want to be my friend anymore, because some little asshole kids thought it was funny to call people gay
there was a girl down the street that i used to play with
but then she got really hot, and stuck-up, and didn't want to hang out with me anymore(or any of her other friends)
funny thing
she has lived 2 doors down from me since i was 7
i haven;t spoken to her since middle school
that's ok though
but i think i will try to hang out with peopel more
esapecially since many of them will be goign away this fall
josh and phil will be moving to mississippi
josh always initiates everything with that group
i'll always be in contact with scott, so that's no worry
i am goign to have to initiate contact with kristen pack
which will be really odd, and hard
at least the first time
almost everyone in the other crowd is stayign closeby
i worry we might lose touch with katie though
i really hope not though
i guess i'll jsut have to see what i can do
i think it shouldn't be too much of a problem though
but angela and jessica are goign to college in spartanburg, so i'll probably be hanging out with them more
and that'll be cool
and i'm pretty sure that the people that are going away won't completely go away
they'll change location, but they'll always be friends
but anyways, i'm feeling pretty good
i think i'll be able to keep it that way
i jsut gotta remember that peopel do want me around, and to not be scared to show myself that
