hey, i'm in the mainefriends group. you asked if i know anyone from stroudwater... well, i dont, but i know people from portland. i know ryan wade. and joel gill. and probably some others. there are a ton of mainers here :) do you know any specifically? if you knew names i'd be able to say more definitely one way or the other.
and it's cool that you listen to juanes. i used to listen to juanes :)

I don't remember where I've heard of those guys- the names sound familiar, but I'm not sure that I know 'em personally. Well some people that I know from either stroudwater/ young life @ or recent grads of Gordon are: Abi Geer, Laura Carlson, Paul Gant, Kristin Bickford. That's all I can think of @ the moment.

As for the Juanes, I think their second album may be the best anyone will hear of them- I'm a little more for mariachi myself, having gone to Mexico a lot on mission trips and study abroad this summer. These make sense since i'm doing a misions/spanish double major- not planning on full-time mission work in latin america/mexico for @ least a few years (in response to the default ? people always ask about me planning to be a missionary in a spanish-speaking country). :)

hey, yeah, i know abi geer, and laura and i were on the soccer team together. i recognize kristin's name, probably shared a class with her or something, and just know /of/ paul gant but for no particular reason. that's cool :) what year are you at Eastern again? My friend Jess Lamson is a voice major ... a senior, too. at eastern.

i think paul gant may have been on the lacrosse team @ some point- not sure tho- he's @ gordon-conwell now. i'm a senior here- people here tell me that i look like Jesus (@ least the blonde-haired, blue-eyed one)- i'm still a little mixed on that. i don't know if i know jess lamson, but i'd probably recognize who she is, most likely. and laura's sister liz goes here as well, dunno if you know her.
