Well I'm now 24 (ugh) on this Mexican Independence Day (it's true), and my hair's a LOT shorter. Other than that, I'm just celebrating as best as I can, mostly just hangin' out w/people and going out for Mexican food sometime soon. Next Friday will be my 24th b-day, which I'm hoping will be a happy occasion overall, instead of the usual wide ups and downs whitin the 24 hours. This was an interesting but laid back week for me, as my aunt flew up to ME to spend a few days w/my madre, so padre was down in SC for bus. and I was here in MD by myself. Well my mom came through her surgery fine, and is in the middle of more tests today, but otherwise she seems to be making good progress after having a tumor and 15 lymph nodes removed from under/around her left arm.
