I'm starting to think that Vash's views on Naruto sort of border between 'little brother' and 'son', because Naruto is one of the younger people on the crew that Vash feels he doesn't have to protect quite so fiercely. After all, Naruto's a ninja with plenty of skills, and he's not as naive as many members of the crew are. Vash still wouldn't like seeing him get hurt or do dumb things in a fight, but he'd be more inclined to trust Naruto to watch his back

Naruto thinks Luffy is like. His best fucking friend ever. He easily, easily fills the brother void in his life, going by his Way Family terms. (Though, despite how Luffy's at least a little older than him, Naruto tends to feel like the older brother, rather than the younger.) Where Haruhi is like. His official sister, Luffy is his official brother.

Anyways. He's a fellow Shounen Retard, and joins him in many of his shenanigans, and he likes that. He doesn't mind that he's really thick or that most stuff bounces off him, metaphorically and literally, where it annoys him with Giselle.

In terms of trust, while he wouldn't tell him about Kyuubi without something leading up to it, he would trust him with the secret once he found out. He trusts Luffy a whole damn lot, and he'd have to do something really bad to betray that trust. He also knows that's pretty impossible, because Luffy's a man of his word. They both value their Codes, whether it be Pirate or Ninja, and he appreciates that. He also trusts that he'd help him, whether or not

Naruto thinks Hachibei is a little weird, and sadly they haven't interacted much aside from the ninja lessons. (Which I don't even know if I should reply to IT'S SO OLD.) But because he's on the Way, he figures it's best to just lend a hand when he can. Or an eye. He doesn't know about the eye thing yet, though.

Actually, out-of-game Narutomuse thinks that if Hachibei was around for the Sexy no Jutsu training, he'd be a lot of help!

Now that Rhyme's onboard, Naruto might have competition in the eyes department. Yeah, it really is a pity that they haven't interacted much. We're going to have to rememdy this. (I always felt so sorry that the thread kinda died that way. I agree, it's pretty old. ;_; )

Incidentally, this pup believes he would be a great help, too, but I'm not sure whether to put him in the spectators section or in the actual lessons thread. But boy, are they in for a tongue-lashing, though.
