So I saw some footage of Glenn Beck at the CPAC convention this evening. Apparently progressivism is something to be feared, and anyone who presents themselves as such is a Marxist psychopath who wants to evolve our country into something... eeeevil.What John Dickinson said to John Adams of independence in the service of the status quo, I say to

And let's not forget that progressives are the ones who made sure that we don't have human body parts and corpses in our breakfast foods.

The hysterical part is, Upton Sinclair was a Socialist. He wrote The Jungle as a way to draw attention to the plight of food workers, but people got so grossed out by what was going into their food that good ol' Teddy set up the FDA. Sinclair said later in life, "I aimed for the people's heart, but hit their stomach."

But heaven forbid we admit Socialists can contribute to good things, too. :P
