It's sad that Tezuka didn't play tennis anymore, and instead, Fuji was the one to conquer the courts.
and it somewhat hurt when Fuji just suddenly said "I used to love you" in the middle of their conversations in that casual tone while I think what he wanted to say was "I love you, even now" T_T
that ending was also quit agonizing T_T

That was sad, but beautifully written. I really liked the way they interacted with each other - not really uncomfortable, but still somewhat stilted.
And the way the fought to uphold their respective facades of 'I used to...' just made me melt away.
(*cough and I also rather liked that the girlfriends didn't get a lot of screentime cough*)
On one hand I kinda want to beg you for a sequel (including the affair that brings them together in the end), on the other hand, even though the ending is sad, it rather fits.
Thanks anyways *sniff*

I'm not sure if I could, though, because the request was specific in no happy endings and I think a sequel counts as a happy ending. :(

I'm sorry I didn't read it sooner! I moved unexpectedly into an apartment with no internet - this is my first time going online since the end of June. ;o; *currently using library internet*
This has made me so happy. I am going to print it so that I can reread it at times when there are no internet (read: always).

And it sucks about your internet. *hugs*
