Uh, Cadd, let's not be mixing our metaphors here. I'm a Southerner. I hate racism, the confederate flag and fundieocracy, but so do many others down there.
Actually, the South was predominantly Democratic for about 100 years. Sometimes they were known as "Dixiecrats" but Lyndon Johnson would never have been able to get the Civil Rights Act passed without them in his party.
It was in 1968 that Nixon's "Southern Strategy" got so many do jump over the fence. It didn't hurt him any that his opponent was that world-class lame fool Hubert Humphrey.
But I digress. In the South you still can find hospitality, food and a laid back lifestyle unparalleled elsewhere in the USA.
I'm sure you do. It was copied and pasted from a music related mailout. I thought it was funny and pasted it. I see exactly the same thing on sites here either having a go at the north or the south. I'll leave you popbitches address and you can take it up with them :-) http://www.popbitch.com
